Objectives
This activity focuses on basic facts and shows that everyone can contribute something to society. The participants get to know different workplaces and have a look at them in “real life”.
Preparation
Finding workplaces to visit
Printing form with questions
Finding adresses to workplaces
It would be better to inform the workplaces beforehand.
Instructions
The participants work in groups.
The groups visit a workplace together.
Each group is assigned a specific perspective to work on: job tasks, uniforms, working hours, required skills, required education…
The groups then meet afterwards to compare and discuss – they become experts on their perspective.
Then, the expert groups mix and join with one member from each of the other expert groups. This new group now shares all the perspectives on the workplace they visited.
The new group shares experiences and discusses them.
