Objectives
The learner can name numbers in random sequence.
Material
- Playing cards in sets of 1 to 9, one set per pair.
Instructions
- Divide the group into pairs.
- Give each pair a set of playing cards.
- Step 1
Learners A & B take turns at picking one card and name the number.
- Step 2
Learners A & B take turns at picking two cards and name both options. e.g. 5 & 6 => 56 & 65
- Step 3
Learners A & B take turns at picking three cards and name all the options. e. g. 4 & 3 & 8 => 438 & 483 & 348 & 384 & 843 & 834
- And so on; the maximum is all of the nine cards.
